分詞とは、「動詞を形容詞みたいにすることです。」
動詞にingとかedをつけて、「現在分詞」や「過去分詞」と呼ばれる形に変形させます。
動詞＋ing形＝現在分詞
動詞＋ed形＝過去分詞と呼びます。
分詞の使い方ing
例 「cry」
look at the crying baby .
あの泣いている赤ちゃんを見てください。
cryingがbabyを修飾しています。
分詞の使い方ed
例「use」
I have a used car.
私は中古の車を持っています。
usedが車を修飾しています。
分詞の例文
分詞は名詞の後ろからも修飾できます。こんな感じ↓
look at the baby cring over there.
あそこで泣いている赤ちゃんを見てください。
The girl playing a piano is Emma.
あのピアノを弾いている女の子はエマです。
I have a car made in Japan.
私は日本製の車を持っています。
